Description

Major environmental challenges such as greenhouse gas emissions, groundwater depletion, rising temperatures, and food shortages may seem insurmountable, but how we eat has the power to improve each of these issues and more simultaneously.

Join Plant Powered Metro New York as we explore the role of animal agriculture in climate change with Michael Klaper, MD. We’ll discover how shifting toward a plant-based food system can transform not only our health but the health of our planet as well.

Dr. Michael Klaper is an internationally-recognized physician, teacher, and speaker on the intersection between nutrition and health. He is the founder of Moving Medicine Forward, providing foundational nutrition education for medical students, and recently became the Director of Telemedicine Services for Aroga Lifestyle Medicine in Victoria, British Columbia.

Presented in partnership with Humane Montclair and Planted Society.
