We're Rooted: PPMNY's 5th Anniversary Celebration

Plant Powered Metro New York is celebrating five years of building a regional movement for health transformation!

Since putting down roots in 2019, PPMNY has come so far. Our 5 year anniversary celebration will showcase the many roots that make up our community, the people who have helped us grow, and the leaders in whole food, plant-based nutrition who are nurturing the movement, including our honored guests whose contributions to our movement are unparalleled:

• Pioneers: The founding clinical team of NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue’s Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program — Michelle McMacken, MD, DipABLM; Shivam Joshi, MD; Guarav Sharma, MD; Sapana Shah, MD, MPH, DipABLM; Rebecca Boas, MD, MBA; Lilian Correa, MPH, RDN; and Krisann Polito-Moller, NBC-HWC.

Join us as we prepare for the next five years of PPMNY — extending our roots together. 

All tickets include entrees from the plant-based Ethiopian restaurant Bunna Cafe (gluten-free options will be available) and a tasting of appetizers and desserts created by our beloved community chefs — showcasing diverse flavors and cultures.
