Celebrate the work and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as we experience how nutritious food gives rise to hope, healing, and health equality. We’ll explore food literacy, reflect on how we can advance food justice in our communities, and taste our way through dishes that fuel great health.

Join our walk to these Harlem hotspots where their chefs have, in partnership with PPMNY, curated these delicious dishes just for MLK Day:

The walk begins on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Registrants will receive the address via email. Our “walk marshal” who will share about Harlem’s Black history is the Honorable Marc Whiten from the Tri-State Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen. Josh White, MD, from Walk with a Doc will also join us to answer your health questions!

A $5 donation to PPMNY is required to hold your spot. Participants will pay for food at each location, $5-10 per restaurant. The full menu is available for additional purchases.

Hosted by Chef Rebecca Johnson, PPMNY Partnerships Manager
